Dean RWA Series
Dean RWA is an air-cooled centrifugal pump for hot water, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and triethylene glycol. A shaft-mounted fan across a finned bearing frame cools the bearings and seal chamber. No cooling-water jacket.
Series ratings: 1,100 GPM, 425 ft, 400 °F (205 °C), 450 psig, ductile iron, 13 sizes. Hot water and glycols only. Heat transfer oil uses Dean RA. See RA vs RWA selection and the RA Series page.
Built in Indianapolis at 6040 Guion Road. Complete pumps are built to order.
RWA2096, RWA4166, RWA4206
We sell three frames: RWA2096, RWA4166, and RWA4206. Maximum temperature 400 °F. Seal faces use silicon carbide vs carbon with Aflas elastomers. An air vapor eliminator vents vapor from the seal chamber. Match series to fluid before ordering parts.

Selection
- Use RWA for hot water, EG, PG, or TEG. Use RA for heat transfer oil.
- Both RA and RWA are air-cooled. Series choice follows seal materials, elastomers, and auxiliaries for the fluid.
- Confirm size/model and actual impeller diameter before ordering a kit. OEM heater builders often trim a full-size impeller and may not restamp the tag. See the nameplate guide.
- 13 factory sizes in the series. Additional sizes are quoted.

RA: heat transfer oil. 650 °F (343 °C), 6,000 GPM, 350 psig, 27 sizes. Viton seal package and barrier-fluid cavity. Dean RA Series.
