Dean RWA4166 High-Temperature Hot Water, Ethylene Glycol & Propylene Glycol Pump
The Dean RWA4166 is a heavy-duty, centerline-mounted centrifugal pump engineered specifically for high-pressure hot water, ethylene glycol, and propylene glycol heating and cooling loops operating up to 400°F (204°C) and 450 PSIG without external seal flush water. It combines the air-cooled RA centerline frame with a top-mounted 304SS Vapor Eliminator (#26J, SKU 9320215), a John Crane Type 48LP hot-water mechanical seal (#95A/B, SKU 6765945) with Aflas elastomers, a 316SS hook-type dry shaft sleeve (#10, SKU 1768412), and PLS10 Teflon casing gaskets (#77).

- Built for High-Temperature Hot Water & Glycol (To 400°F / 450 PSIG): Eliminates vapor lock and premature seal failure in pressurized hot-water and glycol loops where standard hot-oil or ANSI water pumps fail.
- 304SS Top-Mounted Vapor Eliminator (#26J, SKU 9320215): Continuously vents entrained air, flash steam, and dissolved gases from the seal chamber prior to startup and during operation so the mechanical seal faces never run dry.
- John Crane Type 48LP Hot-Water Seal (#95A/B, SKU 6765945) & 316SS Dry Shaft Sleeve (#10, SKU 1768412): Silicon carbide vs. hot-water carbon seal faces with high-temperature Aflas elastomers (#325 Gland O-Rings SKU 9710582) mounted on a replaceable 316SS sleeve sealed by a Viton O-ring (#77A, SKU 9710589).
- PLS10 Teflon Casing Gaskets (#77): Chemical- and hot-water-resistant Teflon casing gaskets (SKU 9155917 on 8.5" sizes; SKU 9156096 on 10" sizes) prevent wicking or blowout in hot water and glycol.
- Centerline Yoke-Mounted Class 300 RF Ductile Iron Casing: Shares the heavy-duty centerline mounting footprint (Print RA3001, 1.125" coupling shaft) and air-cooled finned bearing frame (#26, SKU 1082564) with integral radial fan (#120, SKU 1280016).
