Dean RA2096 Compact Air-Cooled Thermal Liquid / Hot Oil Pump
The Dean RA2096 is a compact, air-cooled centrifugal process pump engineered for continuous hot oil and thermal liquid service up to 500°F (260°C) without external cooling water. Built to ANSI B73.1 AA envelope dimensions (Print RA-1047) with ASME Class 150 Flat Face flanges across 3 pump sizes (1x1.5x6, 1.5x3x6, and 1x1.5x8), it drops directly into compact skid and process heater layouts.
Key Engineering Highlights:
- Air-Cooled to 500°F (No Cooling Water Required): Cast cooling fins across the bearing frame dissipate heat naturally without cooling water lines or jacket maintenance.
- ANSI B73.1 AA Envelope Interchangeability (Print RA-1047): Standard CP = 17.50", L = 13.50", Y = 4.00", D = 5.25", and 0.875" coupling shaft across all three sizes.
- Class 22 Ductile Iron Pressure Casing: Foot-mounted volute casing with ASME B16.5 Class 150 FF suction and discharge flanges and back pull-out rotating assembly.
- Proven RA2096 Shaft, Seal & Bearing System: 420 SS shaft (#29, P/N 1138152) supported by an inboard carbon/stainless sleeve bearing (#180, P/N 6010104), double-row thrust ball bearing (#25A, P/N 9010173), and hot-oil mechanical seal (#95A/B, P/N 6765938).
- Stocked Bare Pumps, Baseplates & Motor Packages: Configurable above as a bare shaft pump or complete motor-mounted assembly on an ANSI AA baseplate.
